Fleas Season Is Here

Yes, it is the dreaded flea season and I have done some research on natural products for those of you who are interested.
For Example:
HOME MADE FLEA COLLAR FOR DOGS:
2 tablespoons peppermint essential oil
1/2 cup rosemary essential oil
2 tablespoons white cedar essential oil
1/4 cup citronella essential oil
2 tablespoons eucalyptus essential oil

and


Herbal anti-flea dip for your pet:
2 cups packed fresh Peppermint, Pennyroyal, or Rosemary
1 litre boiling water
4 litres warm water

So, all of this is all natural, but I would still check with your vet just in case your little pooch or cat is allergic to any of these ingredients.

Callie needs a home!

Our puppy's mom Callie was brought in to a rescue organization when she was pregnant with Andy and the rest of his litter. All of her pups were adopted, and Callie was adopted as well, but she was recently returned because her new home already had two other dogs and they decided they didn't have time for a third dog.

Callie is 2 years old, housebroken, crate trained, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is at Four Paws Coonhound Rescue in El Cajon.
